The weather in Delhi and other northern states has been changing thoroughly these days. Due to the effect of western disturbance, the minimum temperature of Delhi is currently below 10 degrees and the maximum is 27 degrees Celsius. By March 13, the minimum temperature is likely to go up to 13 to 14 degrees and the maximum will go up to 30 degrees.

On Friday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 9.6 degrees Celsius, which is 5 degrees less than the season's average.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will remain clear on Saturday, but the weather is likely to change again by March 9 and 10.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will be 35–36 and 18–20 degrees Celsius, respectively, by March 25. El Nino conditions will result in extreme heat between March and May, according to a statement made last week by Dr Mrityunjay Mahapatra, Director General of the Meteorological Department.

The highest recorded temperature during Holi in 2011 was 35.4 degrees Celsius. The month of February coincided with the Holi festival in 2010. For the third time since 2000, the Holi festival fell on a day other than March 25 in 2021.

The Holi festival fell on March 25 in 2005. Holi was observed on March 27 in the year 2013. Holi fell on March 29 in 2021, a day that saw a temperature rise to 38. The temperature was above 36 degrees on March 18, 2022.
