The India Meteorological Department has forecasted dry weather for Uttarakhand districts today. On the other hand, the weather service forecasted sporadic light to moderate snowfall or rainfall across Uttarakhand from March 11 to 14.
The Western Himalayan Region is expected to see light to moderate, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall or snowfall from March 11 to 14, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On March 12 and 14, the weather office has also forecast isolated to scattered rainfall across the nearby plains.
According to the weather office, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala will experience humid and hot conditions over the next two days.
After several days of snow and rain, more than 360 roads in Himachal Pradesh—three of which are National Highways—remained closed. Beginning on March 10, the Shimal MeT office has forecast a rainy spell. The western Himalayan region is expected to be impacted by a new western disturbance starting on March 10, according to the meteorological department, PTI has reported.
IMD predicts that on March 10, there will be isolated light to moderate rainfall or snowfall over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh. On March 11–14, there will be scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall or snowfall along with isolated thunderstorms and lightning.
Regarding rainfall, it is anticipated that there will be sporadic to isolated downpours over Punjab on March 12–14 and over West Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on March 13–14.
Furthermore, the IMD has forecasted sporadic rainfall over Odisha from March 8–10 and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on March 9.
