Several parts of the country experienced moderate to heavy rains in the last 24 hours, bringing respite to people facing humid heat. The national capital Delhi witnessed pleasant weather on Saturday morning with a cloudy sky and light rain. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued warnings for moderate to heavy rains in various areas of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Andaman and Nicobar and Vidarbha until September 18.
In Madhya Pradesh, Barghat recorded 24 cm of rainfall and Odisha’s Devgaon recorded 19 cm rainfall. In Uttar Pradesh, Friday morning remained humid in many districts including Kanpur and Lucknow. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain for the next three to four days.
Bihar Weather Update
In Bihar, the monsoon has weakened and the effect is visible on the weather of the state. However, sporadic rainfall is expected in many districts including Patna for the next five to seven days. On Friday, the maximum temperature in the capital city of Patna was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius.
Jammu And Kashmir Weather
In Jammu and Kashmir, it has been raining for the last several days and there will be no respite from rain till this week. The maximum temperature in Jammu and Kashmir was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 21.7 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Gujarat Weather Update
In Gujarat, heavy rainfall is expected in various areas of Saurashtra and Kutch till September 18. In view of the rain, IMD has urged people to take weather precautions and avoid waterlogging, unpaved roads and areas with heavy traffic.
Maharashtra, Goa Weather Update
In Konkan and Goa, there are chances of rain in various areas on 16 and 17 September. At the same time, heavy rains may occur in multiple areas of Andaman and Nicobar till September 17. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in areas of Vidarbha today.
