The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to an ongoing low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. According to the latest weather bulletin, this low-pressure is expected to intensify and move west-northwest towards the coasts of Tamil Nadu by December 11. Due to this weather conditions light to moderate rain is expected in multiple districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the next three days. 

Andhra Weather Updates

Andhra Pradesh will experience light to moderate rainfall, particularly in the coastal and Rayalaseema regions, starting on December 10. Alluri Seetharamaraju, Kakinada, Konaseema, West Godavari, Krishna, Nellore, Kurnool, Anantapuram, Sri Sathya Sai and YSR (Kadapa) are also likely to witness light showers. 

Heavy rainfall is anticipated from Wednesday to Friday, especially in Annamaya, Chittoor and Tirupati districts. Farmers are urged to protect their crops and prepare for adverse weather conditions.

Telangana Weather Forecast

Light showers are predicted in Telangana, along with the possibility of fog formation in Hyderabad during the morning hours. Light rain is also expected across various parts of the state on December 11 and 12 as the weather conditions in the area are expected to intensify in the Bay of Bengal.

Additionally, heavy rain is also likely to cause heavy to very heavy rain in Tamil Nadu. In the Northeast, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are expected to experience fog in the coming days, with the weather remaining cold for the next few days.
