Most Powerful Passports List 2024: India's passport has been ranked at 82nd position in the fresh list released by the Henley Passport Index. Indian nationals can now travel to as many as 58 foreign nations without a visa, which include famous tourist destinations like Indonesia, Maldives, and Thailand.
The ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which holds the most comprehensive and accurate database of global travel information.

Singapore passport has bagged the top spot offering visa-free travel to 195 countries. France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Japan jointly hold the second rank, offering visa-free access to 192 nations.
Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden are tied for third place, each providing visa-free entry to 191 countries. The United Kingdom, New Zealand, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, and Switzerland hold the fourth spot, offering visa-free access to 190 countries.
Australia and Portugal are jointly in fifth place, granting visa-free travel to 189 destinations.
As many as 34 countries have been placed on the list of nations having top 10 passports.
