The Yogi government is set to launch the Noida Safe City project, which will be implemented in six phases. Under the mission, police stations, CCTV systems and traffic management systems across the city will be unified under the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC).
This will also be connected to a state-of-the-art public address system, serving as a medium to issue messages in emergency situations. The project will help enhance the safety system for all citizens, including women, in the city.

The Noida Authority (NOIDA) has already begun preparations for it. The project will cost Rs 208.47 crore.
The six phases of the project include a state-of-the-art city communication network, integrated command and control center, data centre, CCTV-based city surveillance system, intelligent traffic management system and Geographic Information System (GIS).
The entire city will be monitored through ICCC. This will help effectively manage and control any unpleasant or emergency incidents. Additionally, a modern data center will be developed in the integrated command and control centre.
The project will also include the addition of state-of-the-art public address systems, face recognition, and digital forensics. Other components include cryptocurrency investigation solutions, panic box systems, visual display units, bullet-proof PTZ cameras and installation of ANPR cameras.

Overall, the Safe City project will help manage the 225 square kilometer area of Noida city effectively. Various types of software installations and upgrades will also be completed under this project.
