Following the directions of the Union Ministry of Education, the Viksit Bharat Buildathon-2025 will be organised across schools in Jharkhand, including government, aided, and private institutions. The innovation-focused competition aims to inspire students to think creatively and learn through project-based teaching.
Director of the Jharkhand Education Project Council, Shashi Ranjan, has issued instructions to all District Education Officers and Superintendents of Education to ensure maximum participation. He also conducted a virtual meeting on Thursday to provide guidelines for the event.

Students from classes 6 to 12 will participate in teams under four national themes: Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India), Swadeshi (Indigenous), and Samriddh Bharat (Prosperous India). Each participating school will appoint one teacher as a mentor to guide the students.
The competition timeline is as follows:
-Registration: Until October 6
-School-level activities and mentoring: Until October 12
-Live Buildathon: October 13
-Idea submission on portal (video or prototype): October 14-31
-Evaluation: November
-Winners announcement and corporate acceptance: December
The programme, launched on September 23 by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, seeks to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among students while providing them with an opportunity to showcase their ideas at the national level.
