To manage the surge of passengers during the festive period, the Railways will operate one-way special trains from Ranchi to Ambala and Moradabad.
Train number 08107, the Ranchi-Ambala special, will depart Ranchi at 10:45 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, and reach Ambala at 4:45 AM on Saturday. The train will halt at Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomo, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad.
It will run with 21 coaches, comprising 12 second-class sleepers, 6 general coaches, 1 AC 3-tier coach and 2 SLR/D coaches.
Similarly, train number 08101, the Ranchi-Moradabad special, will depart Ranchi at 10:45 PM on Wednesday for a single journey, arriving in Moradabad at 10:45 PM on Thursday.
It will follow the route via Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomo, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Bareilly, operating with the same 21-coach composition.
These special services are aimed at providing convenient travel options for passengers during the busy festive season.
