Ranchi: Fire At Pearl Orchid Apartment Causes Panic; Short Circuit Suspected

Panic gripped the residents of Pearl Orchid Apartment in Ranchi on Friday after a fire suddenly broke out in one of the flats. Preliminary investigations indicate that the blaze was triggered by a short circuit.

Immediate Response And Rescue

Upon noticing the fire, alarmed residents evacuated their homes, and the fire brigade was immediately alerted. Fire tenders rushed to the scene and launched relief and rescue operations. After considerable effort, firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control.

Household items within the affected flat were partially burnt; however, a major tragedy was averted as the fire was extinguished in time. As a precautionary measure, the power supply to the building was temporarily suspended.

Casualties And Administrative Action

Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties. Local police arrived at the spot to assess the situation. Following the incident, the administration has instructed the apartment management to conduct a mandatory inspection of the electrical system and ensure strict compliance with safety standards.
