The word massage itself is so relaxing. As soon as we hear it, we automatically feel so relaxed. Massage therapy offers multiple benefits for your overall health and well-being. Massage helps reduce stress by increasing dopamine and serotonin. This will enhance your mood. When you massage a particular part of your body, it increases blood circulation which pumps oxygen to the cells and flushes out toxins.
Touch is a very relaxing feeling. Human touch provides comfort and a sense of connection. This helps reduce anxiety and depression. Massage can improve sleep patterns by promoting relaxation and reducing any sleep-related issues. When you are more relaxed, you can focus better and your productivity increases.

Scalp Massage
Take any carrier oil of your choice and mix it with a few drops of lavender essential oil. Massage your scalp gently with your fingers in a circular motion. Apply only gentle pressure, and make sure that your scalp is clean and not oily.
Back Massage
This is the most common area for tension build-up. Dilute any essential oil of your choice with Eucalyptus essential oil and massage gently on your back. You can either use the gliding technique or the kneading technique. A back massage session can last up to 15-30 minutes.

Hands and Feet Massage
Massaging your feet and hands offers relaxing and therapeutic benefits. Both these areas are nerve endings and pressure points, making them ideal for massages. For hand massage, you can use finger strokes and thumb circles with the right amount of pressure. For foot massage, you can gently apply pressure while doing toe strokes and thumb circles. Mix a few drops of lavender essential oil with a carrier oil like coconut, almond, or jojoba oil before applying it to the skin.

Neck and Shoulder Massage
A neck and shoulder massage is extremely effective for relaxation and stress relief. Use your thumbs to make circular motions along the sides of the neck, applying gentle pressure working from the base of the neck out towards the arms.
Temple and Forehead Message
Massaging the temples and forehead can be highly effective for stress relief and overall relaxation of your mind and body. Mix a few drops of peppermint essential oil with a carrier oil like coconut, almond, or jojoba oil before applying it to the skin. Use your fingertips in a circular motion with gentle pressure on your temple and forehead. You can use your thumb to gently press and glide on your eyebrows as well.
