Tips For Natural Hair Growth

Eat Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. These little seeds nourish your hair follicles and make your hair stronger and healthier. Just sprinkle a spoonful of chia seeds in your milk or yoghurt during breakfast. You can also soak them in water for about 15-20 minutes and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning.

Avocado Hair Mask

Avocados are not just delicious to eat, but they are also excellent for your hair. They are rich in vitamin E, which is like a shield against the oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Mix a smashed avocado with a tablespoon of honey and apply directly to your hair. Put on a shower cap and let it sit for 1 hour. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

Yogendra Chakra/ Wheel Pose

This asana is not as complicated as it sounds. It involves standing forward bend, with this blood circulation to the head area increases. More blood flow means more oxygen and more nutrition for your hair. Stand straight with feet apart, roll your fingers into a fist and arch back. Exhale and bring your hand and head down, take both your arms behind your back and clasp them with each other. While taking your head towards your knees, now exhale release your fingers and gently rise.

Silk/ Satin Pillowcases

Who knew your pillowcase would make a huge difference to your hair? Traditional cotton pillowcases can cause friction leading to hair fall and breakage. On the other hand, silk and satin pillowcases are smoother and gentler on hair, thus reducing damage and helping you wake up with tangle-free hair.

Proper Hair Detangling

Wet hair is like a delicate flower, so you must treat it with utmost care. You have to detangle your hair carefully after washing and patting your hair with a towel. Start detangling your hair from the ends with your finger or you can use a wide-toothed wooden comb. This minimises stress from the hair shaft, protects your hair cuticles and keeps the hair healthy.
