How To Reduce Kidney Pain: Often referred to as renal calculi, nephrolithiasis, or urolithiasis, are among the most prevalent medical diseases worldwide. Kidney stones can be caused by an improper diet, excess body weight, certain drugs, supplements, and underlying medical issues. Any portion of your urinary tract, including your kidneys and bladder, may be impacted due to kidney stones. To alleviate the symptoms of kidney stones, a certain diet rich in nutritious foods must be followed. Here are some effective tips to reduce pain caused by kidney stones.
Tips To Reduce Kidney Stones
Eat Calcium-Rich Foods
A vitamin called calcium is vital for the body to maintain healthy bones and muscles. Therefore, to satisfy your body's daily need for calcium, incorporate foods high in this nutrient into your diet.
Reduce Salt Intake
According to the Cleveland Clinic, pee with increased salt content encourages the development of stones. A half teaspoon, or 1,500 to 2,000 milligrams, of salt, should be the maximum amount you consume each day. Aside from not adding salt to your food, be mindful of the sodium content of prepared foods.

Waste materials in fluid begin to crystallise as urine becomes concentrated. Increasing your fluid intake to dilute your urine is the greatest strategy to counteract it. Try to consume at least 2.5 litres, or roughly 10 cups, of liquid each day.
Avoid High Oxalate Foods
According to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), those who have kidney stones should avoid eating foods high in oxalate, such as spinach, a variety of berries, chocolate, wheat bran, almonds, beets, tea, and rhubarb.
Limit Protein Foods
Eating a lot of protein can increase the amount of calcium that the kidneys expel, which can lead to an increased risk of kidney stones. As a result, add protein to your diet in moderation rather than eliminating it.
