Asparagus
Asparagus is a spring vegetable which contains great amounts of vitamins, minerals and calcium. These nutrients help in keeping the heart, bones, kidneys and nerves functioning and healthy. A cup (180 grams) of cooked asparagus has only 38 calories.
Beetroots
Beets are incredibly nutritious vegetables that should be a regular part of any diet. Folate, or vitamin B9, is abundant in beets and aids in cell growth and function. A 1-cup serving of cooked beets (170 grams) contains 74 calories.
Broccoli
