1. Healthy Diet

A healthy diet is necessary for good health. It protects you from a variety of chronic noncommunicable diseases including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. A balanced diet that limits salt, sugar, saturated fats, and trans fats from industrial production is crucial for good health.

2. Sleep Schedule

Getting enough sleep every day is an essential part of a healthy routine. According to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, adequate sleep not only rejuvenates the body but also helps it fight off diseases, maintain a healthy weight, lower the risk for serious health problems, like diabetes and heart disease, reduce stress and improve your mood and enhance your personality.

3. Regular Exercise

Regular exercise plays a significant role in maintaining a healthy and fit body. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), when losing weight, more physical activity increases the number of calories your body uses for energy. Using calories through physical activity, combined with reducing the calories you eat, creates a calorie deficit that results in weight loss.

4. Meditation

Mayo Clinic advocates that meditation is the practice of focused concentration, bringing yourself back to the moment over and over again, and actually addressing stress, whether positive or negative. It can also reduce areas of anxiety, chronic pain, depression, heart disease and high blood pressure.

5. Journaling

Journaling is an innovative way to express your emotions and thoughts. It helps in understanding your feelings, emotions and thoughts more clearly, and gaining control over them. It also promotes calming effect in the body and reduces significant stress.
