Chilled water or other cold beverages may contract with blood vessels and restrict the digestive system. This results in the body’s shifted focus on regulating body temperature rather than digestion.
Decrease Heart Rate
Drinking cold water may lead to decreased heart rate and stimulate the nerves. Consuming cold water throughout the day can have a tremendous effect on the vagus nerve, a nerve that controls all voluntary functions of the body.

Consumption of cold water or other cold drinks after coming from outside can cool down nerves in the spine, which can affect the brain and cause headaches. It can also increase sinus problems in certain individuals.
Increases Weight
Cold water makes it difficult to burn extra fat in the body, leading to weight gain. Consuming fridge water can harden the body fat and prevent the weight from decreasing.
