Using excessive hot water for washing your face can also lead to ageing. It may destroy the skin’s collagen and elasticity. Therefore, always wash your face with lukewarm water to prevent ageing.

4. Infections

Washing your face with too much hot water can lead to infections as well. Bacteria love to grow in warm conditions. It leaves your skin dry and stretched because of which you will apply more moisturiser and other products, which can further lead to acne and other infections.

5. Irritation

Hot water strips away the natural oils and moisture from the skin. This causes the skin to dry out and dry skin equals a compromised moisture barrier, which leads to serious skin problems.
