Ways To Prevent Excessive Sweating: One of the most common repercussions of summer is excessive sweating. While sweating is the body’s way of regulating its temperature, excessive sweating can be quite inconvenient. The usual response of the body to heat is sweating and the moisture evaporates and cools down our body. It is a completely natural process of the body yet might cause some inconvenience. Excessive sweating can release bad odour, itching and irritation. It can also leave patches and stains on your clothes that may appear yellowish in colour. Therefore, one must take measures to prevent excessive sweating during summer.
Ways To Prevent Excessive Sweating
Wear Breathable Fabrics
One of the best ways to reduce sweating is by wearing breathable fabrics that let the air pass through. Breathable fabrics provide good ventilation that helps to keep your body cool and prevent your body from sweating. Also, always choose lighter colours to wear in summer as they help to reflect the sun's rays rather than absorb them.
Avoid Certain Foods
Body sweat in summer may also be a repercussion of certain foods such as fried or spicy foods. Our bodies react to spicy foods in a similar way as to any heat, therefore avoid eating too much spicy foods in summer. Also avoid consuming excessive amounts of caffeine as it stimulates our adrenal glands and causes our palms, feet and underarms to sweat.
