Precautions For Monsoon Season: The pleasant monsoon weather is here and people are enjoying the much-needed respite from the scorching heat. After the extreme heat, the rainy season has brought a major respite from heat-related illnesses such as sunburn, tanning, heatstroke and others. But we all know that monsoon also brings with itself a host of illnesses such as dengue, malaria, cholera and others that can have a detrimental effect on one’s health.
Therefore, it is necessary to take certain precautions that can help to prevent these diseases and help you enjoy the monsoon to the fullest. Here is a list of some vital precautions that you should take beforehand to prepare yourself for the rainy weather.

Maintaining good personal hygiene such as washing hands regularly before and after meals, changing wet clothes and bathing with soap among others to prevent contact with bacteria. Use antifungal soaps and powders to minimise the chances of catching respiratory illnesses such as colds and coughs.
Avoid Getting Drenched In Rain
Even though it's monsoon season and you want to enjoy it to the fullest, avoid getting drenched in the rain too much. It is always better to carry an umbrella or raincoat with you when travelling outside during rainy weather.
