1. Nutritious Diet

It is important to include healthy foods such as green leafy vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, cereals, and dairy products in your diet to maintain overall health. Avoid bingeing on junk foods and always prefer to eat clean, hygienic, home-cooked food. Replenish your body with vital nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre, iron, zinc, potassium and others for better functioning of the body.

2. Limit Sugar Intake

Consuming too much sugar has ill effects on the health. It leads to high blood pressure, high sugar levels, increased inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. Also, excessive sugar intake can lead to major skin problems such as long-term damage to skin protein, collagen and elasticity. Therefore, make sure to consume the least amount of sugar.

3. Regular Exercise

Being physically active is extremely important for a woman’s body. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.

4. Good Sleep Schedule

With the burden of responsibilities, you might experience nights when you may have to skip your sleep and be on duty. Even on such days, make yourself a priority and do not compromise on your sleep. Getting enough sleep is important for the body to rest rejuvenate and enhance its functioning.

5. Practise Self Love

With so many changes within the body, we often forget to love ourselves for who we are. As we grow older, practising self-love should become an important element of our life. Do things that you love, be with your family, enjoy your time and acknowledge your feelings and thoughts.

6. Focus On Preventive Care
