Skincare Routine To Follow In 20s: As we step into our 20s, taking care of our body and its needs becomes one of our most vital responsibilities. Being mindful of healthy skincare habits goes a long way in determining our overall health. Our 20s is the initial stage when our skin begins to experience numerous changes and still retains its youthful appearance. With the right care and habits, one can retain the glow and radiance of the skin and make it long-lasting. It’s never too late to start a skincare routine and achieve healthy and beautiful skin. Here is a basic skincare routine that every girl in her 20s should follow religiously.

1. Know Your Skin Type

Before you hop onto buying skincare products for your skin, knowing your skin type is an integral step. Different skin types depend on various factors such as how much water is in your skin, which affects its comfort and elasticity, how oily it is, which affects its softness and how sensitive it is.

2. Cleansing

No skincare routine is complete without gentle cleansing. Cleansing is an important skincare ritual that helps the skin in getting rid of dirt, bacteria and debris from over its layers. Always use a gentle cleanser to wash your face and be consistent with your cleansing routine.

3. Moisturise Regularly

After you have cleansed your face with a mild cleanser, you need to moisturise your face. It is important to supply the skin with moisture or it may dry out and be at higher risk of skincare problems. Our skin needs extra amounts of hydration and water content to keep it plump and supple. Therefore, do not forget to nourish your skin with good amounts of moisturiser.

4. Sun Protection

With daily hustle and bustle, it is important to protect your skin from the harmful effects of UV rays. The harmful UV rays can cause premature ageing, tanning, skin discolouration and other skin care problems. Therefore, never forget to apply sunscreen over your skin.

5. Healthy Diet
