Facts About BTS Jimin

Park Jimin went to Busan High School of Arts to study modern dance where a dancing teacher saw his potential and suggested him pursue a career in K-pop.

Before joining BTS, Jimin trained in martial arts for more than eight years. He has a black belt in Kendo and Taekwondo.

Once Jimin was asked what he wished to take away from his bandmates, he said he wanted to take V's skills, J-Hope's cleanliness, RM's size and Suga's knowledge.

Jimin has made history by being the first solo artist to take home the prestigious Idol Plus Popularity Award at The Fact Music Awards (TMA).

BTS Jimin once considered adopting the stage names ‘Baby J’ and ‘Kid’, but chose to remain with his given name, Park Jimin.
