BTS Jungkook has been an inspiration when it comes to fitness for years now. The Golden Maknae accepts that he is obsessed with his abs and there is hardly a time when he is seen sitting calmly at one place. Even during the shoots or between the shots, Jungkook is often seen exercising to keep his energy levels high. The singer never shies away from the fact that his workout routine is his top priority in the day. From knowing how to lose weight to following a strict diet, JK ensures he stays in shape all the time.
In one of his LIVE streams on Weverse, a BTS ARMY asked Jungkook about his weight loss process and workout routine. The singer happily spilled out ways to shed those extra kilos and motivated fans to take up physical activity to stay healthy. Jungkook shared a morning workout routine that requires no equipment. 100 Squats
Jungkook said, "As soon as you wake up, just do 100 squats." This is a very beneficial exercise for flexibility and core strength. It helps shape the front and back of the thighs and tighten the calves. It not only crushes calories but also reduces the risk of injury, according to OMH.
Ab Workout
While Jungkook recommends doing 30 reps of an ab workout, it is always better to consult your trainer before following any workout routine. It may work for JK and may not work for you. Nonetheless, an abs workout is also a necessary part of a daily workout routine. It helps in reducing fat and keeps a check on lifestyle diseases such as diabetes. According to Mayo Clinic, an abdominal workout strengthens your core and improves balance and stability.

20 Lunges
Lunges are considered very good for the legs. Dr. Kavita Nalwa, founder of YOBICS Workout and TV celebrities fitness trainer told OMH that this exercise strengthens the glute, quad and hamstring muscles. She further suggested that lunges must be done regularly for a complete body workout. Jungkook in his video revealed that he does two sets of 20 lunges in his daily workout.

Plank
Talking about his workout, BTS Jungkook further said that he does one minute of a normal plank and then side planks for one minute on each side. This exercise helps maintain a healthy posture, increase balance and coordination, build core strength, and improve flexibility. According to Cleaveland Clinic, exercise physiologist Katie Lawton, MEd said, "Exercise can have a positive effect on our mental health. When you see yourself getting stronger, it can be encouraging. Itβs also important to breathe while you plank to further engage your core muscles. Some breathing techniques can help boost your mood."

15 Burpees
Jungkook wraps up his workout with 15 burpees. According to OMH, Burpees are a full-body workout that should be included in your routine. It helps burn calories, improves cardiovascular fitness, boosts strength and endurance, and improves functional fitness

To get those six-pack abs, these exercises suggested by BTS singer Jungkook may be helpful but note that he is not a physical trainer and has no experience in the field. So it is better to consult a professional before following any workout routine or making any drastic changes in your lifestyle.
