Suga
Before debuting with BTS, Suga was known as "Gloss" in his hometown of Daegu. He later adopted the stage name "Suga" inspired by his basketball position as a shooting guard. Suga also uses the alias "Agust D" for his solo projects, showcasing his artistic versatility.
RM
RM revealed that he initially chose the stage name "Rap Monster" as a trainee inspired by a line from one of his songs. However, four years after BTS' debut, he felt the name no longer suited his music, leading him to adopt the shorter monikers "Rapmon" and "RM".
