Children’s Day 2024: Every year on November 14, India celebrates Children's Day, a unique occasion devoted to honouring the country's children and advancing their welfare. This day serves as both a joyous celebration and a sobering reminder of how important children are to the nation's future.
It provides an opportunity to consider the value of children's rights, access to healthcare and education and the necessity of protecting and promoting their general well-being. The day was selected to commemorate the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary, who was a strong advocate for the welfare of children.
