2. Healthy Breakfast

Consuming a nutritious breakfast rich in essential nutrients including protein, fibre, vitamins, minerals, and others is important for optimal health. For some individuals, the longer they wait to have their breakfast, the more rise they notice in their blood sugar levels. Going for long periods without having food in the morning can be a stressor to the body, causing a rise in blood sugar. Therefore, always try to have your breakfast meals on time.

3. Include Protein

Beginning your day with a breakfast rich in protein can have positive effects on blood sugar levels. Eating a healthy breakfast stacks the body with much-needed energy that reduces the chances of a spike in blood sugar.
