There are so many people who all have yellow teeth. Well, it's something that is a common concern that happens for so many different reasons. The natural aging process is one of the main causes, as tooth enamel erodes and exposes the yellowish dentin underneath. Also, some lifestyle choices, including drinking coffee, tea, or red wine, as well as smoking, can cause discoloration of the teeth.
Yellowing can also be caused by poor oral hygiene, insufficient brushing, and skipping routine dental examinations. Also, a few drugs, genetics, and excessive fluoride exposure during tooth growth may be contributors.

According to Dr. Vinod, "Yellow teeth can result from various factors, primarily stemming from lifestyle choices and oral hygiene practices. The most common cause is the accumulation of plaque and tartar on the tooth surface due to inadequate brushing and flossing. Consuming certain foods and beverages, smoking, and tobacco chewing can contribute to tooth discoloration over time. Additionally, age-related enamel wear and thinning can expose the yellowish dentin layer beneath."

Regular brushing, preferably with a fluoride toothpaste, and flossing help eliminate plaque and prevent further discoloration. Professional dental cleanings, scheduled at least twice a year, are essential to remove stubborn tartar and maintain optimal oral health. Moreover, adopting a diet low in staining substances and maintaining good oral habits contribute significantly to preserving a bright, healthy smile."
