AS THE country is geared up to celebrate the auspicious festival of Chaitra Navratri, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, another significant occasion celebrated is the Bihar Diwas. Also known as Bihar Day, Bihar Diwas marks the creation of Bihar and Orissa as separate states, on March 22, 1912. On this day, Bihar and Orissa were carved out of the Bengal Presidency as separate provinces. The official observance of Bihar Diwas annually began in 2010 under the initiative of Nitish Kumar. As this special day is here, we bring you some beautiful wishes and quotes that you can share with your family and friends.
