New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Search engine major Google on Tuesday uploaded a specific doodle on its search engine to wish Happy Holidays to its users. In Us, the holiday season kicks off from Thanksgiving. However, in other parts of the world, including India, the holidays kick off with Christmas and ends up after the New Year. The week-long period is famous as the Christmas season, in which people take holidays to buy, decorate and enjoy. In today's doodle, the second O alphabet of Google's logo is actually a snow globe with a Christmas tree and Santa Claus riding on his sledge.

Google has said, "No matter how you choose to celebrate, ‘tis the season to enjoy the holiday festivities during the most wonderful time of the year!-Happy holidays!"
When you move your cursor, it shows Happy Holidays 2019. The animations is likely to change over the week. The series kicked of on December 22 with the arrival of the winter solstice meaning sun stands still and the movements of sun's path. It shared the second doodle on December 23, in which Google's O letter looked like candles and tree leaves. Tuesday's google doodle is third in the series.
Besides Christmas and New Year, the holiday season also includes Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. The latter is a week-long yearly festival that begins on December 26 till January 1. It is celebrated in the US and other nations of the African diaspora. Kwanzaa culminates gift giving and a feast.

Hannukkah is a Jewish festival commemorating the rededication of the second temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire.
