Use Herbal Colours
One of the best ways to protect your pets from harmful colours is to use herbal colours instead of chemical colours. Herbal colours are pet-friendly and skin-friendly. But prevent your pets from licking the colours as they can be harmful to their health.
Keep Them Indoor
Holi is usually played outdoors, in open spaces, therefore it is better to keep your pets indoors. Keep them away from the place of celebrations so that they do not come into contact with harmful colours.
Apply Oil
If you are taking your pets to Holi celebrations, make sure to apply pet-friendly oil on their body. The oil will create a protective barrier that will prevent the skin from absorbing colours and prevent their harmful reactions as well.
Do Not Use Water Balloons
Some pet breeds are extremely sensitive to water balloons that even a mere touch of them can get them skin allergies. Avoid throwing water balloons at pets as they can make them afraid and hurt their skin. Throwing water balloons at pets can also lead to eye injuries, therefore refrain from doing so.
