Digital detox is a period during which a person refrains from using gadgets such as smartphones, laptops etc, to reduce stress, burnout and eye strain. We may not say it is easy to practise digital detox, but it is not impossible indeed.

Throughout the day, take some time to switch off your phone and enjoy nature and surroundings. It can be during your dinner or breakfast time or when you gather with your family when you can refrain from using your mobile phones and other gadgets.

Another great habit to adopt for a digital detox is setting certain time limits on your device from using different apps. For example, you can set a time limit of 1-2 hours for using Instagram on your device. Your phone will remind you that your time has finished and you can turn off the app for the day.
