Cons Of Drinking Water After Watermelon

According to Ayurveda, this can disrupt the regular digestive process and even upset the balance of chakras in the body. Some people might even feel uneasy after drinking water immediately after eating watermelon. Since it delays the digestion process, problems like acidity might arise.

Even though there is no proper scientific proof behind this, but still, it is better to avoid drinking water for some time after having watermelon. People with stomach problems or sensitive stomachs should definitely avoid having water for at least 40-45 minutes after consuming watermelon.
