Best things to do in Lakshadweep:  Lakshadweep, an archipelago of 36 islands, is celebrated for its exotic beaches and lush green landscapes. The name, derived from Malayalam and Sanskrit, translates to 'a hundred thousand islands.' As India's smallest Union Territory, Lakshadweep spans 32 sq km, comprising 12 atolls, three reefs, five submerged banks, and ten inhabited islands. Kavaratti serves as both the capital and principal town, situated 220 to 440 km from Kochi in the Arabian Sea.

As per the official website of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, BSNL and Airtel are the sole telecommunication providers in Lakshadweep. BSNL offers connectivity across all 10 inhabited islands, while Airtel covers the Kavaratti and Agatti islands.

Access to Lakshadweep is restricted, necessitating an entry permit issued by the Lakshadweep Administration. This uni-district Union Territory charms visitors with its natural landscapes, sandy beaches, rich flora and fauna, and serene lifestyle.
