Pregnancy Acne Prevention Tips

To prevent pregnancy acne, limit washing to two times per day and after heavy sweating.

Always use a gentle, oil and alcohol-free and non-abrasive cleanser to wash your face.

When washing your face, use a cotton pad and do not rub your face with a towel.

Avoid over-cleansing as it can overstimulate the oil glands of the skin.

After washing, make sure to rinse your skin with lukewarm water, gently pat dry and apply moisturiser according to your skin type.

Keep your hands off your face to avoid the contact of bacteria to your skin.

Keep in mind to change your pillowcases frequently and prefer satin pillow covers.
