Deepika Padukone looked ravishing in a red Torani-designed Anarkali suit at the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Her adorable baby bump and glowing complexion were emphasized by the outfit, which fit her well. Reminiscent of her famous appearance from the movie "Piku," her makeup included kohl-lined eyes that made her fans nostalgic. Deepika added a dash of regal beauty to her attire by accessorizing it with gorgeous chokers and Chandbali gems. The necklace is a Sikh relic that dates back to the family of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It has a 150-carat ruby in the center, encircled by white sapphires.

On a historical note, a portrait of Sher Singh, the son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, shows him wearing a similar bazuband.
