Excessive Hot Water
Washing your face with extremely hot water can cause burns and strip natural moisture from your skin. It strips away the natural oils, causes the skin to dry out and makes it more susceptible to acne and pimples. It can also aggravate several skin conditions such as eczema, skin burns, acne, hyperpigmentation and others.
Hair Products
One should never even try any hair products on the face as they can cause reactions on the skin. The application of hair products on the face can lead to irritation and inflammation of the skin due to the harsh chemicals and fragrances present in them.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste contains several ingredients and chemicals that can be harmful to the face’s skin. They can cause clogged pores, and irritate the skin causing inflammation and redness. They can also stimulate the oil glands on the face which can cause excessive skin dryness.
Body Lotions
If you are someone who applies body lotions on your face, then you might want to stop. Body lotions are typically formalised to hydrate thick skin on arms, legs, thighs and the back. These body lotions contain heavier ingredients and fragrances than what the delicate skin of our face requires.
Cooking Oils
Never apply cooking oils such as coconut or olive oil on your face directly as they can lead to clogged pores and breakouts for certain skin types. These oils are high in hydrogenated fats that can trigger acne and other skin problems.
