When drinking coffee, avoiding certain foods might help maintain its flavour and avoid awkward situations. Foods with strong flavors or spices can overshadow coffee's subtle flavour, making the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, some coffee consumers may experience pain from acidic foods like citrus fruits, exacerbating their acidity problems. Sugar-rich foods can also overpower the mild coffee flavors, making the experience less enjoyable.

It is ideal to match coffee with complementing or neutral items, such as simple pastries or almonds, to completely enjoy the subtle flavours of the beverage. Coffee has a rich flavour that we can fully enjoy by being attentive to what we eat with it. Therefore, we've included a list of items that you should never eat with coffee here.

Fried Snacks

While eating crunchy fries with coffee can improve their flavour, there may be health dangers involved. Additionally, many people eat gram-flour-based snacks with tea, such as pakoras, namkeen, and bhujia, without realizing that doing so can worsen digestive problems and decrease the absorption of nutrients. Milk And Dairy Products

Dairy ingredients, such as cheese, cream, and milk, can decrease coffee's ability to absorb iron. Thus, when consuming coffee, it is best to stay away from meals high in iron, such as beans, lentils, and leafy green vegetables.

Citrus Fruits

Avoid combining any citrus fruits, such as oranges and grapefruits, with your coffee since they may react with the caffeine in it, causing a variety of digestive problems and also causing discomfort.
