Why do you crave for sweets after every meal?
Nutritionist, Neha Ranglani said it could be because of a couple of reasons-
1. It could be physiological which means your body needs a quick energy spike because digestion is hard work and your body needs energy to digest and process the food and absorb nutrients.
2. It can be psychological, you crave sweets out of habit. Your body has been programmed to crave sweets after every meal just because you've been doing so for a long time.
3. The nutritionist says that if you feel energetic, satisfied and satiated after having a small amount of sweets, then it should not concern you much. All you need to do is switch to healthier versions of sweets like dark chocolate, bliss balls or some nut or til chikki. She further added that if your sugar cravings are troubling you much and want to know why is this happening, then she laid down certain questions that one should ask oneself.
