Today, India is celebrating the 71st National Film Awards, a significant event in cinema by awarding some of the exceptional artistic and technical accomplishments of filmmakers from across the country. The distinguished ceremony is taking place at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, where President DroupadiMurmu is presenting the awards to the winners. The ceremony, which started at 4 pm today, live on DD News or the channel's Youtube page. This year's ceremony consists of a group of stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Vikrant Massey all dressed up beautifully to collect their awards. The 71st National Film Awards celebrate excellence in Indian cinema.

Taking the limelight, Rani Mukerji received the National Film Award for Best Actor for her performance in the film "Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway." She exuded elegance in a stunning silk drape, perfectly complementing her ethnic charm.

Rani Mukerji looked breathtaking at the National Film Awards in a stunning rust-brown silk saree adorned with an extravagant gold border and heavy silk pallu. The rich luxurious drape was accompanied by a half-sleeved blouse, a delicate pearl choker along with a delicate chain and earrings with her hair left down. She kept her makeup minimal with a brown lip shade, sleek kajal and a small matching bindi.

Other actors including Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey received the prestigious National Film Award for their performances in the films 'Jawan' and ‘12th Fail’ respectively.
