Republic Day Parade 2026: Nationwide, Indians will celebrate their 77th Republic Day on Monday, 26th January. The day holds immense pride for each citizen of India, as on the day the Constitution of India came into effect, making India a fully sovereign republic. The highlight of the day is the iconic Republic Day parade that is held at Rajpath, officially known as the Kartavya Path near India Gate in New Delhi. On the day of national pride, the President of India unfurls the National Flag.
Almost every Indian participate in this parade as spectators, some watch it live on television, while others go with family and friends to feel patriotism at its Peak at Kartavya Path. Ticket:
If you have already bought the ticket from the online portal of the Aamantran website, don’t forget to carry your parade ticket along with a valid ID card.
Identification Card:
According to the Rashtraparv website, if you are planning to buy the parade ticket from the booths, they are available at the counters at Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House, Rajiv Chowk metro station, and Kashmere Gate metro station. However, carry essential identity proofs like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Passport, or an ID card issued by the Central or State Government
Mobile Phone:
Keeping a phone is a necessity at modern world, so don’t forget your fully charged phone.
A Wallet
Always have your wallet with you, including some cash, cards, and necessary IDs for convenience.
A Small Water Bottle
Since you’ll likely be waiting in line for security and checking purposes, carrying a small water bottle will come in handy to keep you hydrated.
