Its simplicity and effectiveness have solidified its place in modern beauty routines, making it a must-have 'magic potion' for those seeking natural and effortless beauty. Here, we've compiled an easy way to make rice water at home to maximise its benefits.

How To Make Rice Water At Home?

To make rice, there are three easy methods that are as follows-

Soaking Method

Start by rinsing 1 cup of raw rice to eliminate impurities. Next, soak the rice in 3 large cups of water for around half an hour. Finally, strain the water and utilise it for skin and hair care, enjoying the benefits of this simple and efficient method.

Fermentation Method

To prepare fermented rice water, replicate the initial steps of the soaking method by rinsing and soaking the rice. Then, allow the rice water to ferment for complete 24 hours. Once it emits a faintly sour aroma, strain the liquid. Finally, store the fermented rice water in a spray bottle for future use.

Boiling Method

To make rice water using the boiling method, rinse the rice and add water (about 2-3 times the amount of rice). Boil the rice and then strain the water. Collect the rice water and refrigerate it. This method is simple and effective but be careful not to over-boil the rice as it can reduce the nutrient content of the water.
