Sadbhavana Diwas 2024: It is an annual event in India that is dedicated to fostering peace, national unity and harmony among communities. It is observed on August 20 every year to celebrate the life and legacy of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and to remember his efforts to improve society and promote social cohesion. Sadbhavana Diwas is observed to emphasise the value of harmony, respect and understanding among people in a diverse country.
Sadbhavana Diwas 2024 History
From 1984 until 1989, Rajiv Gandhi was India's prime minister. He is renowned for his attempts to modernise the country and tackle social justice concerns. Initiatives to improve peace, education and technology were implemented under his administration. Rajiv Gandhi overcame many obstacles, but his dedication to promoting communal harmony and national unification had a long-lasting effect. To honour his vision and inspire people to uphold his values, Sadbhavana Diwas was established.

Sadbhavana Diwas 2024 Significance
