Shaheed Diwas 2024: Martyr’s Day or Shaheed Diwas is observed every year on January 30 to mark the contributions of our freedom fighters. January 30 also marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated by Nathurram Godse at Birla House in New Delhi in 1948. Known as the ‘Father of Nation’, Mahatma Gandhi played an important role in the independence of India. He led numerous movements against British rule and even went to jail many times. Use this day to remember such a great soul and share beautiful messages with your family and friends.
