Introduce your new partner to your children, engage them in conversation, inform them of meetings, pay attention to their worries, and provide reassurance as required. Never tell them something behind their backs, as this could put you in a precarious position.
Recognise And Apreciate The Balance
Spending all of your free time with your new love will alienate your children and make dating challenging, so don't leave them behind.

When looking for potential dates, don't keep your children's names a secret; tell them who you are but don't explain why you are a single parent.
