The very first solar eclipse also known as the 'rare hybrid solar eclipse'  was witnessed across different parts of the world today. The upcoming eclipses are as follow:

3. Partial Lunar Eclipse: October 28 to 29, 2023

As different parts of the world including Pacific Ocean, Indonesia, and Australia witnessed the magical event of the rare hybrid solar eclipse, the golden era has begun in Australia. It was the first solar eclipse in the series of five eclipses for the country in about 15 years. After today's surya grahan, Australia will witness other eclipses on July 22, 2028, November 25, 2030, July 13, 2037, and December 26, 2038.

The hybrid eclipse solar eclipse is likely to reach at its maximum point by 9:46 AM on April 20, 2023. During this period, the Moon will fully cover the Sun from the view of observers at the center of the eclipse path on Earth, and will create a 'Ring of Fire' effect. 

According to Drik Panchang, the surya grahan will be of magnitude 1.01, which signifies that at the moment of greatest eclipse, the Sun would be completely hidden by the shadow of the Moon. The longest duration of totality would be 1 minute and 15 seconds.

As the people in India would not be able to see the solar eclipse in the country, NASA will live stream their telescopic views of the surya grahan. 

According to In The Sky, this Rare Hybrid Solar Eclipse will be visible in some parts of South/East Asia, Australia, the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, and Antarctica, but not in India. 

This very first Solar Eclipse of the year will not be visible in India, but people can watch the live streaming of the grahan on the official youtube channel of NASA.
