With the increased summer heat, it is essential to prioritise hydration and maintain a body temperature to prevent health risks like heatstrokes. Heatstroke is common during the hot months and happens mostly when the body is dehydrated. Thus, it is important to incorporate several cooling foods in the diet to keep the body cool, hydrated and protect from heatstrokes in the intense summer heat.

Why Does Heatstroke Happen?

Heatstroke is a condition that is generally caused when the body gets overheated. This happens when the body gets exposed to high temperature or performing physical activity in high temperature for too long. This condition is common during the summer months. Heatstrokes can be fatal when not addressed timely manner. It is always better to take precautionary actions like keeping the body hydrated and cool, using breathable clothes, carrying an umbrella and avoiding outdoor activities during the peak heat time.
