World IVF Day 2023: World IVF Day is observed annually on July 25. Also called World Embryologist Day, it commemorates the birthdate of the first child to be conceived and safely delivered by IVF. This day is also celebrated to honor the effectiveness of IVF, its significance, and the various IVF techniques that can be used.

Louise Joy Brown, the first child born through the IVF method, was born on July 25, and IVF was regarded as a reliable reproductive technology for conceiving kids from that day forward. It involved three types of IVF procedures, which were carried out by embryologists Patrick Steptoe, Bob Edwards, and Adam Burnley. They were in charge of the operations for the first successful IVF treatment. Since then, they have all been recognized for their contributions to the IVF procedure.

Dr Nidhi further adds that couples may experience stress, anxiety, or depression as a result of the emotional ups and downs of fertility treatments, which may necessitate changes to their diet and exercise routines. Weight changes may occur unintentionally as a result of coping strategies such as emotional eating or inactivity. Furthermore, IVF-related hormone therapy may have diverse effects on metabolism and appetite control, influencing weight in different ways depending on the individual.

At last, the expert says while it is critical to know that each individual's body reacts differently, it is also critical to recognize that each individual's body responds differently to the psychological and physical demands of reproductive therapies. Furthermore, the path of IVF is not limited to the physical realm. It's a fabric formed of emotions, willpower, and tenacity. The journey's enthusiasm and devotion are what genuinely determine whether it leads to weight gain, weight loss, or maintaining the same.
