Audi SQ8 Launch In India:  The Audi SQ8 is all set to be launched in India tomorrow. The brand also announced commencement of the bookings for the SQ8 SUV in the country, and the amount was set to Rs 5 lakh. In India, the Audi SQ8 will be placed between the standard Q8 and the top-spec Q8 RS. Let’s take a look at the features and specs of the upcoming Audi SQ8 in India.

Audi SQ8: Exterior

The overall contour of the Audi SQ8 looks largely the same as the regular Audi Q8 SUV. However, a few design details have been added to give it a distinctive look. At the front, the Audi SQ8 features larger air dams and a blacked-out octagonal grille with vertical chrome slats. The part surrounding the grille is finished in a satin silver shade, while the Q8 has a blacked-out one. On the rear, the S badging on the tailgate differentiates the SQ8 from the regular Q8 SUV.

Audi SQ8: Interior

The interior of the Audi SQ8 also largely mirrors the regular Audi Q8 SUV. The cabin features leatherette and alcantara upholstery. In terms of features, the Audi SQ8 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system and a similarly sized screen for the fully digital instrument cluster. Other notable features might include a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, electrically powered front seats with ventilation and massage functions, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and more.

Audi SQ8: Engine

The most significant factor that sets the Audi SQ8 and the regular Audi Q8 apart is the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine placed beneath the bonnet. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it generates a peak power and torque output of 507hp and 770 Nm, respectively. The Audi SQ8 also features rear wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, and the Quattro All Wheel Drive system.
