Hero Flex Fuel Mileage:  Hero Motocorp, the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, unveiled India’s first flex-fuel motorcycles earlier this month. The brand unveiled the Splendor Plus and the HF Deluxe flex fuel with prices starting from Rs 78,792 (ex-showroom) in the country. The flex fuel motorcycles were launched in the presence of the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and the Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri. The brand is now offering a discount of Rs 4,000 on its flex fuel motorcycles.

Hero Flex Fuel Bikes: Pricing And Discount

The Hero Splendor Plus flex fuel was launched at a price tag of Rs 82,710 (ex-showroom), and the HF Deluxe flex fuel bike was launched at Rs 72,792 (ex-showroom). The brand is currently offering a discount of Rs 4,000 on its flex fuel motorcycles. The discount has reduced the effective ex-showroom price of the Splendor and the HF Deluxe flex fuel to Rs 78,710 and Rs 68,792, respectively. After the discount, the Splendor Plus flex fuel is priced at Rs 1,153 more than the standard Splendor Plus model, whereas the HF Deluxe flex fuel costs Rs 1,650 less than the standard model.

Hero Flex Fuel Bikes: What’s Different?

The Splendor Plus and HF Deluxe flex fuel are powered by a 97.2cc engine, which generates 8.44 hp and 8.3 Nm of torque. The flex fuel motorcycles from Hero feature the brand’s patented i3S idle start/stop system, a digi-analogue instrument cluster, side stand engine cut-off, Tubeless tyres, new black and lime yellow graphics, and more. The brand has revised the ECU and upgraded fuel system components to make the motorcycles compatible with higher ethanol-blended petrol.
