Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has issued a voluntary recall for H'ness CB350 and CB350RS. Customers are requested to bring their H'ness CB350 or CB350RS to the BigWing dealerships across the nation from the second week of December 2023. The replacement of faulty parts will be done free of charge, regardless of the vehicle's warranty status.
Rear Stop Light Issue
One of the major concerns involves rear stop light switches manufactured between October 2020 and January 2023. The problem arises from an incorrect manufacturing process used for the rubber components of the rear stop light switch which might result in the development of cracks in the rubber. This issue could allow water entry and corrosion within the switch, leading to a malfunction in the light.
Bank Angle Sensor Issue
Another problem is in the bank angle sensor due to a flawed molding process for the sensor housing which results in a gap in the sealing of the sensor body. This gap could allow water entry into the bank angle sensor which increases the chances of sensor malfunction and potential vehicle stalling. These affected units were manufactured between October 2020 and December 2021.
