Hyundai, a South Korean carmaker, unveiled the year's most anticipated sedan yesterday. The Hyundai Verna 2023 is the sixth generation sedan title and will compete directly with the Slavia, Virtus, Ciaz, and Honda City in the market, but now has a series of new add-on features and an updated engine that is RDE and E20 fuel compatible.

Inside and out, the all-new Hyundai Verna 2023 gets a slew of new features. The car gets a new dark chrome parametric grille, as well as segment-first Horizon LED positioning lamps and LED DRLs that run across the face, giving it a more sporting appearance. The vehicle also comes with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The car also gets revised tail lamps with a linked LED strip at the back.

In terms of interiors, the Hyundai Verna 2023 receives several updates. The interior is black and beige in colour, with a soft-touch crash and leather-wrapped seats. It also has ventilated and heated seats, as well as a smart trunk and a sunroof. The vehicle is equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system with BlueLink Connection, which provides over 65 connected functions, including hinglish commands. For improved sound output, the car also has a Bose premium sound 8 speaker system. It also has an option for ambient lighting.

More than 30 standard features, including seat belt reminders, all 3-point seatbelts, ABS with EBD, emergency stop signal, headlamp function, automatic headlamps, ISOFIX, lane change indicator, burglar alarm, rear defogger, keyless entry, and rear parking sensor, are included in the car's safety package. It also comes with 6 standard airbags. In addition, there are a total of 65 safety features, such as ESC with VSM, hill start assist control, all-disc brakes, electric parking brake, front parking sensors, cornering lighting, and TPMS (Highline).

Another highlight of this year's Verna facelift is the integration of Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Along with smart cruise control and driver attention warning, the company has offered level 2 ADAS with Hyundai Smart Sense features such as collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, and driver attention warning.

It also comes with some notable features, including Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill-Start Assist Control, Electronic Parking Brake, and Vehicle Stability Management (VS), among others.
